Once a small local fraternity at the University of Virginia, the noble work of Brother Stephen Alonzo Jackson has spread Kappa Sigma across almost 300 college campuses in the United States and Canada.
Founded in 1869 in Charlottesville, Virginia, Kappa Sigma has dominated the fraternal world for over 150 years.
The Delta-Zeta Chapter was founded at UNM on Jaunary 24th, 1925 - originating as a small local fraternity just like its national ancestor.
Today, Delta-Zeta is the global #1 Chapter of Kappa Sigma, setting an example of success across the fraternal world.
Our mission is to make your college experience as memorable as possible, but also to prepare you to dominate the world in any career field you desire.
Our vast alumni network offers undergraduates immense opportunity. A career in Kappa Sigma fosters confidence, accountability, and a brotherhood like no other.

Kappa Sigma
Campaigns
Champion Quest is Kappa Sigma's recruitment program. Brother Jackson's dream was for the Star & Crescent to decorate every university in the land, and Champion Quest is our noble effort to do so.
Brothers in Action is Kappa Sigma's pledge education program, designed to teach our pledges about the Fraternity before Initiation. Kappa Sigma has a zero-tolerance hazing policy and uses morally sound education practices.
A Greater Cause is Kappa Sigma's philanthropy and community service program. Helping others is our greatest call to action, and each year our Fraternity donates our time and money to greater causes.
Kappa Sigma's Military Heroes Campaign is our Fraternity's special philanthropic cause. Each year Chapters across the United States and Canada raise thousands of dollars for veterans' charities.
